It's time...

It's time for a new pair of shoes......

Ok, so wow--these did not hold up for 400 plus miles like they said they would but I still love them (ok 300-350). Now I have put some major miles into these shoes but I thought I would get through the next half in them but, look at that tread!

So I ordered a new pair...the same pair just newer. I love, love, love these shoes. They make me feel super light!

I found this great place online Kelly's Running Warehouse. Free shipping or $5 shipping and my shoes were about $20 cheaper than the closest running store here. I would usually not buy shoes online but, I since I'm just ordering the same pair again, I feel good about it :)

Then it came...the dreaded Out of Stock email...boo. So, since I was already expecting them in my mailbox in the next couple days I broke down and heading to the local running shop (I know, I know--I am the product of a small business family and I am such a big box girl--I hate myself sometimes--). SHOP LOCAL--I am glad I did! I love the guy that runs the place, he's a runner and gives great advice :)

So, I bring in my shoes and put them on the counter and say to the guy, I need the exact same pair. So he brings out this shoe but, its not my shoe--ok, it kind of looks like my shoe but the colors are more boy looking.

I ask about it and was told that Mizuno creates a shoe then a few months later comes out with the same shoe but in a different color then 6 months later THEY GET RID OF THE SHOE--what, what??? Is this rumor true....I hope not!

I am breaking these bad boys in tomorrow morning! I also got a great new pair of gloves (please you do not want me to get in to the debacale at Dick's sporting goods!).
